bigger venue at Canford Park Arena. We were really pleased with the amount of vdubs turning up. It always seems to grow bigger each time, with plenty of support from the local club scene. We had more club displays than ever, with the likes of the Cabrio Beetle Club, Hants VW Club, Spirit of Air, Cool Air, Waterside VW Club, a cool gathering of Porsches from the Hants/ Dorset area and Dorset VAG turning out in force.
Any clubs I've forgotten to mention? If you run a club, and you want to organise a There were far too many amazing vehicles to mention them, but these have to get a mention: * Paul W's 1943 (we think) Schwimmerwagon ...yes the one you saw at the Volksworld show * The couple who drove down from Manchester, I think they said it was a 6 1/2 hour drive! Hope you enjoyed it! * The green samba that drew in the crowds. For all those Porsche fans, there were plenty of gorgeous vehicles to drool over. From some original 356's, early to late model 911's. Unfortunately, it started raining by about 3pm, so there were a couple of guys who missed the Show n Shine awards. Obviously, there are plenty of peeps out there putting a lot of effort into their pride and joys, but here's the winners:
Congratulations to all the winners, you can see for yourself how cool these rides were from the pics. Big big thanks as always to Kathy and Paul who put a lot of effort into judging the show.
What we love about the vdub seen is the atmosphere, its always great when we all get together...to catch up with old mates and meet new ones. At this point we want to say a big thank you to all those who support our shows. I know there are plenty of regulars who come along, and there always seems to be plenty of new vdubs and porsches we haven't seen before. Anyone who has some pics they want to see added, just email them over to us and we'll see what we can do.
