| Sunday 19th September 2004 once again saw classic volkswagens descend on mass to this year's Christchurch Classic Volkswagen Show. Held in the beautiful grounds of Homefield School, near Christchurch, Dorset, the show is attracting more interest each time. This year's show was initially dampened by bad weather, but didn't put off the hundreds of enthusiasts turning out to see the vehicles. Lots of very interesting vdub's and porches attended this end of season show. Including a wartime 1942 Schwimmwagen, which must be one of the oldest Volkswagens in the country aswell as possibly the only Schwimmwagen in the UK. Other vehicles in attendance included a hebmuller, air-slammed splitty, the 'fast and funk' FunkenBlitz crew from Portsmouth...Plus all the clubs that regularly support the show.. The show was sponsored by German Swedish and French car parts, Testament Clothing Company. The organisers, JCEVENTS wish to thank everyone who came along to the show, and all the sponsors.
