May 2004 Show Report

As you all probably know, we put on two shows a year, one in May and one in September.
The Christchurch Classic show on May 9th '04 was the best turnout ever!
Great aircooled volkswagens and porsches, and always a friendly atmosphere.
Thanks to all the regular supporters of our shows, and its always nice to see new faces and cars too.
We thought we'd change the layout of the show slightly this year, and from what you've all been saying it seemed to go down well.
We had the "lawn" area as the Club Display and Show n Shine field, and the rear field
as the Main Arena with the bulk of the VW's and Porsches on show, along with plenty of trade stands to look round. Scroll down the page for full Show 'n' Shine write-up.
Don't forget the next Christchurch Classic is on Sunday 19th September 2004, see you there!
A record number of people entered the show and shine this year, with some beautiful, detailed rides. The Vdubs and porsches were judged over five categories. Each of the five categories had a score range of 1 to 5...
